Independent Inspection and Monitoring (Section 44 Visitor) ensures that children’s homes must abide by many stringent regulations and pieces of legislation. Enabling for a child to be healthy and have a great sense of well being of the children who live there.
It is vital that a truly independent* person visits children’s homes so that any issues can be seen and this can be dealt with in a proper manner.
The visits will include detailed conversations with staff members, an inspection of the facilities and record keeping, and discussions with the children and young people who live there.
