Regulation 44 Visits
We provide Regulation 44 visits for a number of children’s homes across the North of England. Our team are experienced in providing professional, high quality visits, that meet the Regulation 44 requirements of The Children’s Home (England) Regulations 2015.
Who can complete Reg 44 Visits?
All children’s homes in England must have a Regulation 44 visitor. This person must be independent from the organisation.
We have a number of experienced Reg 44 visitors who have the experience needed for successful visits. Our visitors are all from either social work or children’s rights and advocacy backgrounds.
What are our visits like?
We are committed to ensuring that the happiness and wellbeing of children is at the centre of all of our work. During visits we will speak with staff, social workers and children and young people. We will also look at the records kept and ensure everything is in line with the National Minimum Standards for children’s homes.
Following our visits we provide a detailed report and will discuss any recommendations or advice where necessary.
